Tim’s journey into the world of plumbing began at a young age in Kyrgyzstan, working for his family’s construction supply store. From early on, Tim was captivated by the intricacies of plumbing. He found joy in solving complex problems, fitting pipes, and ensuring that all installations worked perfectly. The thrill of creating something out of nothing and making people happy through his work became his driving force.
Growing up, Tim was surrounded by the bustling environment of the family business, where he learned the value of hard work and dedication. He was inspired by the craftsmanship and the satisfaction of a job well done. This passion for plumbing grew stronger with time, leading him to immerse himself in learning all aspects of the trade. Tim’s multilingual abilities in Russian, English, German, Turkish, and Kyrgyz have been invaluable in connecting with clients from diverse backgrounds, allowing him to provide exceptional service and build lasting relationships.
Career Start
Tim’s formal career in the industry began after he earned a B.A. in Business Administration. Initially, he ventured into creating an e-commerce company selling construction supplies. However, his love for plumbing kept drawing him back. During his studies, he spent summers in Germany working as a car salesman, honing his customer service skills and developing a passion for helping others.
His first job in his family’s construction company taught him the importance of innovation and compassion. Tim shares his secret to happy customers: “I am there to educate; I make sure to walk through each step with my clients.”
Joining United Plumbing & Water Heaters
After a year of working as a truck driver, Tim sought a more settled life and the opportunity to create a happy family. He joined United Plumbing & Water Heaters as a salesman but soon realized his passion for plumbing. He requested a transition to work as a technician on big projects. Despite his extensive experience, Tim insisted on starting from the ground up, demonstrating his dedication to the craft. He is now the Head of the Big Projects Division, where he continues to work hands-on and educate himself through practical experience.
Tim was initially attracted to United Plumbing by the team’s transparency and the environment of continuous improvement, which resonated with his personal values.

He found himself overwhelmed yet excited by the challenges, which reaffirmed his love for plumbing. “This project reminded me why I love plumbing,” he recalls. “I was able to innovate and solve problems, and that is what I value most in my work.”
